2023 OMSPA Summer Tour: July 19 - 23
The Lanark & District Maple Syrup Producers Association is excited to host the 2023 OMSPA Summer Tour and AGM in Perth, Ontario.
The event will consist of 2 days of tours to a diverse range of sugar camps and 1 day of technical presentations at the Algonquin College campus. The theme for this year's conference is "From Here Forward ..." and will foster discussion on topics related to improving our wood lots, our production operations, marketing and continuing education.
The event is open to OMSPA members and Non-members and will include tours to local sugar bushes, technical sessions, vendor exhibits and social events.
There will be something for Everyone - Small Producers, Long-time Producers & Backyard Producers.
Registration options available for single day passes as well as full-registration with or without evening events included.

Lessons from some of the world's most disruptive companies and how creativity trumps big budgets.
Robert Hocking is a business and brand strategist who specialises in consumer behaviour and innovation.
He’s launched a half-dozen ventures, coached innumerable early-stage businesses, and advised companies that include P&G and Unilever, Diageo and Bacardi, Motorola, Dell and IBM, in markets from North America, Africa, Western and Eastern Europe, and Asia. In 2020, he left the UK to return to Canada where he runs a boutique consultancy that specialises in forward planning using design thinking methodologies (he studied Design Thinking at MIT) and business strategy using a proprietary lean brand development model for high-growth companies. In addition to his ‘day job’, he’s worked in higher education as a Teaching Fellow at Oxford University’s Said Business School, as a guest lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, Leeds University, Delft University of Technology, University College London, and the London School of Economics. |
