The annual Summer Tour is the highlight event that brings together Maple Producers of all sizes and from across Ontario along with maple suppliers and industry experts. It includes 2 days of site tours to small and large sugar houses that each have unique operations and advice to share with other Producers. The theme of this year’s conference is “From Here Forward” and a day of technical presentations will build on this theme through sessions from industry leaders who will share their perspectives on topics covering woodlot silviculture, production, quality management and marketing.
For Summer Tour 2023 we anticipate over 200 full conference registrations and an additional 100-200 one-day registrations. The conference format will encourage attendees to mix and socialize at the trade show exhibits as well as the tour stops and dinner events. Evening events will include an Icebreaker held at The Locks Restaurant on the Wednesday evening, an outdoor BBQ at Algonquin College on Thursday evening, and the annual Banquet Dinner at Code’s Mill on Friday. At each event throughout the tour, our supporters will be recognized and there will be opportunities for Exhibitors and Sponsors to connect with conference participants. The event is going to be based at the Perth Campus of Algonquin College. This large site offers ample parking, high-speed Internet, and will also be the host to vendors, exhibitors, and sponsors. |

Vendor and Supplier ExhibitionThe Algonquin College campus has a 20 x 40 metre outdoor pad that will be partially covered by a tent and will be the primary location for Vendors & Exhibitors. In addition, there will be parking lot space allocated for larger equipment displays, sidewalk space and outdoor storage sheds manufactured by the students (subject to availability).

Program Guide AdvertisingThe 2023 Summer Tour program book will contain complete information about the event including profiles on each of the Site Hosts, speaker profiles, maps, and advertising. The book will be produced in full colour and black/white on high-quality letter size paper and distributed to an estimated 350 Full and One-day Delegates. It is anticipated the booklet will be about 28 pages.
All ads need to be submitted in digital print-ready PDF format or other format as agreed to with the Production Manager.
